On Reddit, businesses must also account for community-specific rules and restrictions on promotional activity, making it important to establish both relevance and the appropriateness of participation.
BuyerEngine AI approaches that challenge by examining conversations where people request recommendations, compare competing products, or describe problems they want solved. The platform is designed for software developers, consultants, agencies and other businesses whose potential customers discuss purchasing decisions online.
Users begin by entering their website address, allowing the application to analyse their offer and search for related discussions. BuyerEngine AI then scores potential opportunities according to their relevance and explains why particular conversations may represent suitable prospects.
“Finding a potential buyer is only half the job. The other half is knowing whether your offer genuinely belongs in that conversation,” explains co-developer Jono Armstrong.
Identifying an interested buyer, however, does not automatically make every conversation appropriate for promotion. To address this, the application generates contextual response suggestions and includes a feature that checks community rules before users participate. Businesses remain responsible for reviewing their responses and complying with Reddit's requirements.
Beyond individual searches, BuyerEngine AI offers ongoing opportunity monitoring and a built-in customer relationship management system. These features allow users to organise identified prospects, track conversations and maintain visibility over potential opportunities as their outreach develops.
Ahead of its release, Armstrong will host a live demonstration showing how the application analyses an existing offer, identifies relevant discussions, evaluates potential buyers and prepares suggested responses.
