Destiny 2 sets a new concurrent player record with over 316k players
Mar 3, 2023
This massive looter shooter franchise captivates gamers once again with Bungie’s latest expansion, smashing the previous concurrent player record at 290k.
Waco, United States - March 3, 2023 /PressCable/ —
The long-awaited release of Lightfall expansion finally dropped on February 28, spiking the concurrent player count to 316k (according to SteamDB). Bungie successfully met the fan expectations after several delays and sneak peeks around this expansion.
The Lightfall expansion features the Neptunian city of Neomuna, following the Season of the Seraph. After being backed into a corner, the traveler searches for salvation on Neomuna, uncovering the mystery around the Veil.
There are many significant changes, from new weapon crafting features to new Exotics and much more. These changes allow players further to empower their travelers on the master difficulty mode. Still, the massive traffic of players did introduce longer queue times, especially during the first few hours of the launch.
Players mentioned having to wait 20 to 40 minutes to sign in to the game. However, these long queues didn’t deter players from pouring into the game while also reigniting Destiny 2’s spell in older players.
Bungie further confirmed several quality-of-life changes to the game that can be expected in upcoming patches to make the game easier for new players. At the same time, the increased difficulty of the master mode allows veterans and competitive players to stay engaged.
The highlight will remain on the new loadout features when discussing the Lightfall expansion. Browse Bungie's official blog for more details on the Lightfall pack and all the small tweaks that will impact player gameplay this season.
As mentioned on addictivegamez.com, one of the most exciting additions in the Lightfall expansion is the new weapon crafting feature. Players can now create their weapons by gathering resources and using them to craft various weapons. This adds a whole new level of customization and depth to the game, allowing players to create weapons that suit their playstyle and preferences.
Additionally, the new Exotics introduced in the expansion are game-changing, offering unique abilities and perks to enhance the gameplay experience. The community has been excitedly buzzing, discussing the new weapons and Exotics and speculating on their potential uses and synergies.
Overall, the Lightfall expansion has breathed new life into Destiny 2, bringing back old players and enticing new ones to join the fray. With new features and quality-of-life changes on the horizon, the future looks bright for the popular online shooter.

How The Clifford Clinic approaches Hifu skin lifting for a more defined face and jawline
[The content of this article has been produced by our advertising partner.] A softer jawline or the first signs of jowling can prompt a deceptively simple question: can the face look firmer without surgery? The answer starts with understanding what has changed, rather than choosing a treatment by name. For people with mild to moderate skin laxity, high-intensity focused ultrasound, or Hifu, is one non-surgical face-lifting option. It delivers focused energy beneath the skin to encourage tissue...

While the devastation and subsequent investigations were covered widely in the global...

With Michelin’s Green Star gone, Hong Kong seeks to redefine sustainable dining
David Toutain witnessed the birth of the Michelin Green Star in 2020. His eponymous restaurant in Paris was among the first to be awarded while Feuille, his Hong Kong outpost, secured one within a year of its 2023 opening. But even when Michelin quietly retired the award this year, he still never understood exactly how it was assessed. “I have no idea,” he says. “I don’t know the rules. I don’t know anything about it, to be very honest.” His confusion points to a larger problem. The Green Star...
