16 Locations Around the World Unite for Earthdance’s Global Peace Gathering
San Francisco, California Sep 16, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Earthdance communities around the world will come together on September 19 for our 29th year of Global Dance Parties for Peace, with each location bringing its own unique culture, character, and community to the global celebration. Earthdance continues its tradition of giving back, with each event around the world donating proceeds to a local charity of their choice.
This year's festival theme is The Heart & Beat of Humanity, celebrating the rhythm that connects every life, every community and every compassionate heart. Together, we can send a message of peace that travels far beyond borders, differences and distance.
At the heart of every Earthdance event is the Global Prayer for Peace at 4 pm PST (12 am London GMT) on Saturday, September 19. At that exact moment, Earthdance communities around the world will join together in prayer and meditation, creating a shared moment across countries and time zones. That synchronized connection remains the heart of Earthdance.

Earthdance Continues to Expand
As we lead into our 30th anniversary in 2027, Earthdance continues to expand its global community in new and exciting ways. We have now grown to two annual Earthdance events each year, hosted on the Equinoxes, creating even more opportunities for communities around the world to come together through music, dance, connection, and a shared intention for peace. If you would like to bring Earthdance to your local community in 2027, you can register your gathering through Earthdance.org.
We've launched Giving Peace a Dance, a new Earthdance podcast hosted by our Event Coordinator, Nicholas Seigle. New episodes will air on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, followed by a special two-hour featured artist segment where we'll broadcast the guest's DJ mix, original music, or curated sound experience live on the website, alongside a hosted community chatroom. This evolving global gathering space allows listeners from around the world to connect in real time, bringing music, creativity, and conversation together in support of peace, expression, and shared humanity.
