As growing flight training activity puts more pressure on schools to coordinate students, instructors, aircraft, and records, eAvio has launched a platform designed to bring training progress and wider operations under one system.

Maribor, Slovenia, September 11, 2026 /NewsNetwork/ -- As interest in flight training and recreational aviation continues to grow, eAvio has launched a flight training management platform for flying schools and clubs. The software brings student progress, instructor credentials, flight hours, and training records into one system, giving smaller aviation organizations greater visibility over day-to-day training activities.

The launch comes amid continued activity across the general aviation training community. According to 2025 data from the Federal Aviation Administration, the number of active student pilots in the U.S. reached 370,286, up 7.2% from 345,495 in 2024, increasing the need for flight schools to keep student progress, training records, and instructor requirements organized.
Within eAvio, theoretical and practical training records can be managed as part of the same student profile. Training programs can be divided into individual lessons, allowing instructors and administrators to see completed activities and follow each student's progress. Flight activity can also be connected with training records, giving instructors visibility into practical flight experience alongside lesson completion.
The platform also centralizes credentials for pilots and instructors. Licences, ratings, medical certificates, and related information can be recorded digitally, with expiration warnings helping administrators identify credentials that require attention.
Simulator training can also form part of a student's training record. eAvio supports simulator-session management, allowing simulator logs to be integrated into candidate records alongside conventional flight training. Multiple crew roles can be recorded, while lesson grades and solo and dual training time provide additional information for assessing practical progress.
Apart from student and instructor management, eAvio connects training with the wider day-to-day operation of a flying school or club. Aircraft reservations, flight logs, maintenance resources, documentation, member records, financial transactions, and invoicing can be managed through the platform. GPS aircraft tracking can also detect takeoffs and landings and generate draft flight logs automatically.
By connecting training, aircraft, scheduling, maintenance, and financial records, the platform gives flying schools and clubs a clearer view of their operations from one place. This can reduce administrative work, make important records easier to retrieve, improve coordination between students, instructors, and aircraft, and help management keep operational and compliance-related information organized as the organization grows.

2/5 stars In Michihito Fujii’s romantic drama You, Like a Star, Suzu Hirose and Ryusei Yokohama play young lovers trapped in a turbulent, decades-spanning relationship that defines their lives. Adapted from the novel by Yuu Nagira, who provided the source material for the actors’ last on-screen collaboration, Wandering (2022), the drama touches on intriguing and volatile topics without ever daring to broach them fully. The result is a polished but aggressively generic chronicle of romantic...
