Jikan Nazo By Ike Paz: $19 Amazon KDP App & Software Launch 2026-Sep-23
Sep 16, 2026
MunchEye announces the September 23 launch of Ike Paz’s Jikan Nazo, an Amazon KDP software platform designed to automate the creation, verification and formatting of number-based elimination mystery puzzle books.
London, United Kingdom, September 16, 2026 /PressCable/ -- MunchEye has announced the upcoming launch of Jikan Nazo, an Amazon KDP puzzle book creation app and software platform from Ike Paz, scheduled for September 23, 2026. The software automates the creation of number-based elimination mysteries in which readers follow a sequence of clues to rule out possibilities until a single answer remains.

The launch arrives as self-publishing continues to give independent creators access to the print book market. Bowker reported that the number of self-published titles with ISBNs exceeded 2.6 million in 2023, an increase of 7.2% from the previous year, illustrating the volume of titles competing for readers' attention.
Jikan Nazo focuses specifically on the puzzle-building process. Its elimination format requires every clue to progressively narrow the available numbers until exactly one solution remains, and the software is designed to verify generated puzzles against that single-solution requirement before they are included in a book.
The platform generates more than the puzzles themselves. Rules pages, clue lists, number registers, front and back matter, and coded answer keys can be assembled as part of the finished interior, reducing the amount of manual formatting required after the puzzles have been created.
Publishers can also choose between Gentle, Standard, and Fiendish difficulty settings. This allows different books or sections to be created around varying levels of complexity without requiring each individual puzzle and its elimination sequence to be constructed manually.
Jikan Nazo incorporates formatting features for Amazon KDP print publishing, including controls for trim size, margins, gutters, bleed and mirrored margins. A pre-flight function is designed to check the completed book for potential formatting issues before export, while an 18-point large-print option provides another format for publishers developing puzzle books for readers who prefer larger text.
The software supports high-resolution PNG output as well as print-ready PDF exports, allowing completed material to be prepared for Amazon KDP or adapted for other printable formats. Optional upgrades extend the core number-puzzle system with additional register types, languages, story-based elements, and alternative mystery formats.

Style Edit: 45R’s new knits spotlight texture and Japanese craftsmanship
The appeal of a good knit is often immediate, from the softness against the skin to the reassuring volume and warmth. At 45R, those qualities begin well before a garment takes shape. The Japanese label’s latest selection puts the making process in focus, bringing together airy merino, characterful Shetland wool and the flecked textures of Donegal tweed. Founded in Tokyo in 1977, 45R approaches clothing through monozukuri, or the “art of making”, a philosophy centred on respect for craft and...

Suit linings: the link between the NFL draft and London’s Savile Row
Back in April, suit jackets lined with interesting graphics and prints emerged as one of the more unusual fashion trends at the 2026 NFL draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the annual event where professional American football teams pick out the best young players looking to enter the league. Colton Hood, then a Tennessee cornerback, now on the New York Giants’ roster, rocked up in a cobalt-blue jacket that, when opened, revealed a swathe of family photographs across the lining, chronicling his...

O3’s Luca Yang hated studying. So he built 24/7 study cafes to motivate people like him
At 22, Luca Yang was running a small teaching company in New Zealand after quitting a six-figure finance job that he hated. It had humble beginnings, where he tutored English online for A$25 (US$17.55) per hour just to get by. When one of his students got into Oxford, word spread: one student became 50, then 500. By most measures, he had already won the start-up lottery. “It was producing a lot of money, but it wasn’t something I actually loved doing,” says Yang, who was born and raised in...
