Clarksville, Tennessee Sep 13, 2026 (Issuewire.com) - Debut author D'Amber Rouge introduces readers to Thousand Kisses Deep, a deeply moving contemporary novel that explores identity, self-discovery, emotional healing, spirituality, and the courage to embrace authentic connection later in life.
Blending heartfelt storytelling with richly developed characters, Thousand Kisses Deep follows Amber, a retired Army veteran and counselor seeking refuge after years of burnout and emotional exhaustion. What begins as a quiet seaside retreat unexpectedly becomes a journey of profound personal transformation as she encounters people who challenge her fears, encourage vulnerability, and redefine her understanding of love, trust, and belonging. Through themes of resilience, acceptance, and second chances, the novel offers an intimate exploration of what it means to find peace with oneself and open one's heart to new possibilities.
A practicing Pagan for more than twenty-five years, D'Amber Rouge brings exceptional authenticity to the novel's spiritual and emotional landscape. As a Master Druid within the Wayist Druid Order and a long-time educator within both Pagan and Leather communities, Rouge draws upon decades of lived experience to create a story that is compassionate, nuanced, and deeply human. Her academic background in Counseling and Psychology, combined with military service and extensive international travel, further enriches the novel's exploration of identity, healing, and personal growth.
"Thousand Kisses Deep is ultimately a story about hope," says Rouge. "It's about discovering that it's never too late to begin again, to heal from old wounds, and to find genuine connection by embracing the truth of who we are."
Originally from Louisiana and now residing in north-central Tennessee, D'Amber Rouge has spent much of her life writing while pursuing careers in counseling, education, and service. Although Thousand Kisses Deep marks her publishing debut, it is the culmination of years of storytelling, reflection, and lived experience. She is currently working on several additional writing projects.
Thousand Kisses Deep will be available in paperback, hardcover, and eBook editions through major online booksellers.

Cheval Blanc Courchevel is expanding with two chalets conceived as private residences, offering all the services of Cheval Blanc, alongside 15 dedicated Majordomes providing highly personalised service. The five-bedroom Chalet and nine-bedroom Chalet harmoniously retain the architectural codes of the original Maison, while reinterpreting them through a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Their connection to the main property is immediately recognisable through the ochre colour of the exterior walls — the signature shade of Cheval Blanc Courchevel — as well as the extensive use of wood. A nod to the traditional alpine chalets of the region, the material is used across the façade in a contemporary interpretation of local architectural codes: charred timber elements interlock with one another like a piece of modern marquetry.

It all started with a sandwich at 7-Eleven. Ada Cheng Suet-ngan was on holiday in Japan and grabbed a quick bite before rushing to catch a train in Osaka.
