Live on Kickstarter, PeniRev Free-Fall Boxer Briefs are designed to reduce skin-on-skin contact, improve airflow, and deliver all-day comfort.
Kanagawa, Japan, September 18, 2026 -- Free-Fall Boxer Briefs, a revolutionary new men's underwear design from functional goods brand PeniRev, are designed to address a common problem with traditional men's underwear: finding a balance between the tight fit of boxer briefs and the loose fit of traditional trunks. The company is currently live on global platform Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.

Developed through repeated prototyping and real-world testing, Free-Fall Boxer Briefs feature a high-rise and low-rise design intended to provide a more relaxed fit while giving the wearer greater freedom and comfort throughout the day. The low-rise design was developed specifically for men with larger waistlines who may find conventional underwear uncomfortable or restrictive and gives same comfortableness with high-rise design.
The idea behind Free-Fall began with a simple problem experienced by PeniRev founder Kamiya. After previously developing anti-phimosis boxer pants, Kamiya found himself looking for a different type of underwear once that product had served its purpose.
“I was looking for underwear that were more comfortable for me,” says Kamiya, founder of PeniRev, on the inspiration behind the project. “Traditional boxer briefs were too tight because I was used to wearing trunks, but trunks were sometimes too loose. I could not find the fit I wanted, so I decided to create it myself.”
Unlike conventional boxer briefs that can place the body in a more restrictive fit, Free-Fall is designed around a different approach to men's comfort and movement.
Key Features of Free-Fall Boxer Briefs:
The development of Free Fall Boxer Briefs builds on PeniRev's experience creating functional men's underwear designed around specific physical needs and designed around how men actually live and move.
“There are some boxer designs that provide more room, and I tested and wore many existing types of underwear, but I could not find the best fit for me,” adds Kamiya. “So I made many samples and asked different people to try them. Their feedback helped me to improve the product again and again.”

The Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest (YDC) has always been a barometer of the city’s creativity: a place to test ideas under runway lights. This year’s finale was held on September 5 during the closing of Centrestage – Asia’s premier annual fashion event hosted by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) – and saw 10 emerging local designers respond to the theme “You” with collections rooted in memory and experience. The top prize went to Tsui Ao-lung for The Tide, a collection...
[The content of this article has been produced by our advertising partner.] Hong Kong’s young fashion designer contest closed CENTRESTAGE with a champion drawn from Cantopop, a double prize for a drawing on memories of a ruined wedding and a public vote for the office junior. The VIP judge in the room told them to find a customer. The Hong Kong Young Fashion Designers’ Contest has been organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council since 1977. Ten local finalists still have to walk four...
There are impulse wardrobes, and then there are considered wardrobes – the kind not shaped by seasonal novelty but rather by materials and craftsmanship with a longer story to tell. For Loro Piana, that story begins in nature: with the changing of the seasons, the knowledge of local herders, and the scarcest, most precious materials. At the heart of this philosophy is baby cashmere, a very rare fibre gathered from the first fleece of a certain breed of domestic goats (Capra hircus) when they...
When the greatest sporting achievements are forged, Rolex is there. The most iconic of Swiss luxury watchmakers marks the defining moments in the most resonant of athletic spectacles, supporting the leading competitions and events as both timekeeper and sponsor, in sports ranging from equestrianism to motorsport to golf. But nowhere is its involvement quite so profound as in the uber-glamorous world of tennis. Rolex is the official timekeeper of all four grand slam tournaments, beginning its...
Jaafar Jackson, who famously plays his uncle, Michael, in this year’s blockbuster biopic of the same name, recently turned 30 years old – and he had plenty more to celebrate. The Lionsgate-produced film is currently the highest-grossing biopic of all time, having crossed the US$1 billion mark globally in July. For many professionals, finding an hour for the gym is about as feasible as finding an extra day in the week. There are deadlines, family obligations, late-night calls and the small matter of getting enough sleep. That is why “exercise snacks” – or micro-workouts – have become so appealing. Rather than reserving exercise for a long session, the approach breaks activity into short bouts: a brisk climb up stairs, a few squats between meetings or an interval session squeezed into a lunch break. The...
Cillian Murphy’s son Aran is his father’s mini-me. The 19-year-old, who will appear in the upcoming HBO Max series Youth, walked the red carpet at the show’s premiere in London on September 11 and the internet can’t get over how much he resembles his father. “[At] first sight, I thought it was Cillian Murphy! He’s super cute!” one user commented under an Instagram post that showed Aran speaking to the media at the premiere. “Looks so much like his dad!” another fan wrote. So who is the Irish...

American may soon have two enormous decisions to make: who should run the airline, and what should they fly? Neither answer will be cheap, simple or remotely inconsequential. The post Opinion: Is American Airlines Ready for a New CEO and a Widebody Order? appeared first on Business Traveller.
