Toronto, Canada, September 15, 2026 -- Popular Ukrainian Artist DEN BAURIN Brings His World Tour to Toronto Ukrainian Festival
TORONTO, Canada — September 2026 — Popular Ukrainian international artist DEN BAURIN will perform on September 18, 2026, at 9:00 PM on the Temerty Foundation Stage at Jane Street as part of the Toronto Ukrainian Festival.

DEN BAURIN
DEN BAURIN is a Ukrainian artist who performs internationally and represents Ukrainian music and culture to audiences around the world. His artistic career is defined by international performances, musical projects, and connections with audiences from different countries and cultural communities.
DEN BAURIN’s music has already reached far beyond Ukraine: his songs are played on radio stations in more than 30 countries around the world and in different languages. Through his international performances and radio presence, the artist introduces listeners from different countries to contemporary Ukrainian music and culture.
His current world tour includes 15 performances. The tour began on July 24, 2026, with a performance at the Laima Rendezvous festival in Jurmala, Latvia, and continues across Europe, Israel, Cyprus, the United States, and Canada.
Bringing Ukrainian Music to International Audiences
For DEN BAURIN, the international stage is not only an opportunity to perform for new audiences, but also a way to represent Ukraine through music. By performing in different countries, the artist aims to introduce international audiences to contemporary Ukrainian musical culture and create a cultural dialogue between Ukraine and the world.
His international career also includes participation in San Marino’s selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, as well as serving as a jury member for international music competitions.
Toronto — An Important Stop on the World Tour
The Toronto performance will be an important part of the current stage of DEN BAURIN’s world tour. The Toronto Ukrainian Festival brings together Ukrainian music, culture, arts, and community life, attracting visitors not only from Toronto but also from different regions across Canada.
For DEN BAURIN, performing at the Ukrainian festival in Toronto is particularly meaningful — it is an opportunity to connect with the Ukrainian community in Canada while also presenting contemporary Ukrainian music to the festival’s international audience.
The Toronto performance, however, will not mark the end of the world tour. Following the completion of this current stage, the artist plans to take a creative break to focus on producing three new albums in three different languages.
The world tour is scheduled to continue during the winter in Asia. The next stage is expected to include performances in China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Since the Shaw Prize was first presented in 2004, the prestigious annual awards have been presented in three categories: astronomy, life science and medicine, and mathematical sciences. A fourth category – computer science – was announced earlier this year in a move that is fully in keeping with the original vision of Run Run Shaw, the late Hong Kong film mogul and legendary philanthropist, who set everything in motion. His intention was to recognise the quest for knowledge and honour...

The appeal of a good knit is often immediate, from the softness against the skin to the reassuring volume and warmth. At 45R, those qualities begin well before a garment takes shape. The Japanese label’s latest selection puts the making process in focus, bringing together airy merino, characterful Shetland wool and the flecked textures of Donegal tweed. Founded in Tokyo in 1977, 45R approaches clothing through monozukuri, or the “art of making”, a philosophy centred on respect for craft and...

Back in April, suit jackets lined with interesting graphics and prints emerged as one of the more unusual fashion trends at the 2026 NFL draft in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the annual event where professional American football teams pick out the best young players looking to enter the league. Colton Hood, then a Tennessee cornerback, now on the New York Giants’ roster, rocked up in a cobalt-blue jacket that, when opened, revealed a swathe of family photographs across the lining, chronicling his...

At 22, Luca Yang was running a small teaching company in New Zealand after quitting a six-figure finance job that he hated. It had humble beginnings, where he tutored English online for A$25 (US$17.55) per hour just to get by. When one of his students got into Oxford, word spread: one student became 50, then 500. By most measures, he had already won the start-up lottery. “It was producing a lot of money, but it wasn’t something I actually loved doing,” says Yang, who was born and raised in...
After Katie Zacharia was sacked as the White House press secretary amid questions about her legal qualifications, another newly appointed Trump official is going viral. Barbera Thornhill is US President Donald Trump’s new Ambassador-at-Large to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons. State Department official Riley Barnes shared the 78-year-old’s portrait on X to celebrate her appointment, but the post gained traction for all the wrong reasons. Social media users tore into Thornhill’s...
