Setli Announces Shared Rental Management Platform for Hosts, Landlords, Tenants and Housemates

Sep 26, 2026

Setli is a shared rental management platform designed to simplify managing rooms, tenants, rent, bills, maintenance and household tasks. Founded in Perth, it uses Stripe for payments, charges a 3.5% transaction fee, and plans international availability across supported Stripe markets.

Perth, Western Australia, Australia, September 26, 2026 -- Setli Pty Ltd is announcing it is preparing to introduce Setli, a shared rental management platform designed to bring the practical work of running a shared property into one place. Founded in Perth and designed for use across supported Stripe markets, the platform brings together rent and bill management, room and tenant administration, maintenance, tasks, requests, reminders and rental records for hosts, landlords, tenants and housemates.

In many shared homes, the arrangement begins simply: a room is leased, a payment date is agreed, and household costs are divided. Complexity tends to build quietly. One tenant pays weekly, another fortnightly. The electricity bill lands in one person’s inbox, a maintenance request remains in a group chat, and a bank transfer arrives without a clear reference. Before long, the household record is spread across spreadsheets, messages, screenshots and memory.

Setli is intended to replace that fragmented routine with a shared, structured view. Hosts and landlords can manage rooms and tenants, assign different rent amounts and schedules, record shared bills and expenses, review payment history, and coordinate maintenance and household tasks. Tenants and housemates can see relevant obligations and records, submit requests and follow activity connected with their rental arrangement.

“Shared rentals aren't just about collecting rent. Once you have different rooms, tenants, bills, payment dates, maintenance and people moving in and out, managing everything through bank transfers, spreadsheets and messages becomes complicated very quickly,” says Denis Sipos, Founder of Setli. “We built Setli to put those everyday parts of a shared rental into one place and give both hosts and tenants a clearer way to manage the household.”

Payments are processed through Stripe. Rental funds are paid directly to the landlord, and Setli does not hold rent. The platform has no monthly subscription; instead, a 3.5% platform fee applies to successfully processed rental transactions. This structure links the fee to payment activity rather than imposing a standing software charge. Setli also includes rewards and referral features, subject to applicable eligibility requirements and terms.

The platform is not presented as a bank, trust accounting service, bond-holding provider or replacement for a licensed property manager. Its focus is the day-to-day administration that can become difficult in shared rentals. A room-by-room structure supports households where occupants have different agreements, rental amounts, payment dates and responsibilities. A consistent rental record can also reduce uncertainty when people move, expenses arise or a maintenance matter requires follow-up.

The product’s design reflects the realities of a household in motion. A new housemate may arrive as another prepares to leave; a repair can affect several occupants; a bill may need to be divided differently from the rent. Bringing those details into one system gives each authorised participant a clearer reference point without changing the underlying rental relationships.

Although Setli was founded in Australia, its intended reach is international. Access will be offered across supported Stripe markets, with availability dependent on Stripe coverage and Setli’s rollout. Mobile applications for iOS and Android are also being prepared. The company will confirm final public launch timing separately.

How The Clifford Clinic approaches Hifu skin lifting for a more defined face and jawline

[The content of this article has been produced by our advertising partner.] A softer jawline or the first signs of jowling can prompt a deceptively simple question: can the face look firmer without surgery? The answer starts with understanding what has changed, rather than choosing a treatment by name. For people with mild to moderate skin laxity, high-intensity focused ultrasound, or Hifu, is one non-surgical face-lifting option. It delivers focused energy beneath the skin to encourage tissue...

Sri Lankan writer Nifraz Rifaz’s debut novel confronts Islamophobia after Easter bombings

On September 22, after a five-year trial, 15 men from Sri Lanka’s minority Muslim community were convicted and sentenced to 200 to 260 years in prison each for their involvement in the 2019 Easter bombings. The coordinated suicide attacks on luxury hotels and Christian places of worship on April 21, 2019, remain one of the deadliest terror incidents in the island nation’s history, claiming more than 250 lives. While the devastation and subsequent investigations were covered widely in the global...

With Michelin’s Green Star gone, Hong Kong seeks to redefine sustainable dining

David Toutain witnessed the birth of the Michelin Green Star in 2020. His eponymous restaurant in Paris was among the first to be awarded while Feuille, his Hong Kong outpost, secured one within a year of its 2023 opening. But even when Michelin quietly retired the award this year, he still never understood exactly how it was assessed. “I have no idea,” he says. “I don’t know the rules. I don’t know anything about it, to be very honest.” His confusion points to a larger problem. The Green Star...

‘Hong Kong would be impossible.’ Why the newest Fotografiska photo museum is in Shenzhen

Contemporary photography museum Fotografiska’s newest outpost in Shenzhen is strikingly different from its original venue in Stockholm, Sweden – in the former customs building on the Stadsgardshamnen waterfront – or its Shanghai location, which opened in 2023 inside the Guang San Warehouse. In Shenzhen, a technological metropolis where sleek high-rises and futuristic cultural venues continue to emerge, the museum integrates into the modern urban landscape with a crisp white rectangular facade...
