NORCROSS, Ga. - Sept. 8, 2026 - PRLog -- Concepts, designs and solutions aimed at improving workplace safety and efficiency are the stock and trade of all who attend the Applied Ergonomics Conference March 22-25, 2027, at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta.

The yearly event, presented by the Industrial & Systems Engineers and Applied Ergonomics Society, marks its 30th session in 2027. It gathers experts from industry and research in ergonomics, workplace health and human factors and provides dozens of presentations on key topics, plus panel discussions, speakers, networking events and an exhibit hall teeming with innovative products and services.

Practitioners and educators eager to share their ideas can become a presenter by submitting abstracts before Sept. 18. Oral and poster presentations will be offered in the following topic tracks: Advancements in Ergonomics, Ergonomics in Health, Safety and the Environment, Multi-skilled Ergonomics Programs, Open Discussion/Panel Session, Applied Research, Ergonomics in Action, The Business of Ergonomics and Student and Emerging Professionals.

Find submission details and more information at iise.org/AEC/abstracts.

"I love coming to the conference. Just being around a group of people that share the same passion for ergonomics that I do is very refreshing," Maya Peleg, an Applied Ergonomics Society board member, said in a Problem Solved podcast at Applied Ergo 2026 in Arlington, Texas. "It's just a great experience and great to see all the creativity and see some old friends."

"I think the conversations that we have here at the conference really are special," echoed AES board colleague Madeline Shoot. "It's rare that I think we get to have these passionate conversations with people who are just as passionate as us. And sometimes you make some great friends along the way."

Another conference highlight is the prestigious Ergo Cup ® Competition in which dozens of front-line workers from participating organizations display their interventions to make job tasks easier, safer and more streamlined. Entries are accepted through Oct. 23.

Register for the conference by Jan. 1 and save on fees at iise.org/AEC/register.
