This free-to-use tool measures the changes in AI responses, including citations, sources, response length, and brand mention changes.
The company positions its AI Volatility Tracker as a way to see how much AI changes from one day to the next, allowing brands to get a deeper understanding of their visibility through AI searches. Volatility data helps companies look at why they may have lost visibility in such a short space of time by outlining the different ways in which an AI system may have changed. From there, brands can use this data to reshape their content so it adapts to the AI’s daily changes.
Vercite’s AI Volatility Tracker will provide users with one daily score per engine for how much AI answers are changing each day. The figure is displayed as a percentage, with breakdowns available for different metrics. It gives the overall volatility score, plus a +/- percentage in comparison with the previous day. There is also a graph that allows users to see the AI volatility over a longer period, with options to see 30 or 90-day overview.
The tool has been specifically designed to provide volatility reports for each AI engine independently. The current systems it provides data for are:

- Google AI Overview
- Gemini
- Google AI Mode
- Perplexity
By delivering separate reports for each engine, users can compare them and see which AI is the most volatile.
