Brandons tops US searches for Barbados beaches as Accra leads in the UK and Canada

Breaking Travel News - Nov 8, 2026

“Brandons Beach Barbados” drew an estimated 3,600 Google searches a month in the United States, 50% more than either Accra Beach or Carlisle Bay, its nearest rivals. What set the US results apart was the strength of interest in Brandons. The figures come from Beaches of Barbados, an independent island guide that analysed Google Keyword Planner estimates for the same 49 beach and bay terms in each market between October 2025 and September 2026. Money over models: big fashion brand contracts seek range of AI rights

AI-generated fashion models present a tantalising opportunity for brands: the ability to create lifelike images for their retail websites while cutting costs by 90 per cent or more compared to photo shoots with human models. For the modelling industry, the technology poses an existential threat because of scant regulation governing the ownership or use of digital twins. Fashion models face the risk of unpaid replication of their image – or replacement by entirely synthetic models. Interviews...

What is ‘ferritin face’ and how does TCM view the trending ailment?

While iron deficiency anaemia frequently shows up with these visible symptoms, Western medical doctors caution that a complex metabolic...

Twenty economies account for 81% of tourism GDP. Who gets the jobs?

Walking therapy is making strides. What it is and why it’s good for mental and physical health

By Deborah Vankin Walking is my salvation. Vigorous solo walks through Griffith Park in Los Angeles are both my go-to exercise and meditations in motion. I regularly “walk the day off” there, or stroll around the city’s Silver Lake Reservoir after work to unwind. I do not listen to music or podcasts or even the news. Instead, I tune into my rhythmic footsteps and the medley of background noise: squawking birds, yapping passers-by, whooshing traffic. It’s soothing. But when a family member’s...
